KMYX (channel 49) is an independent station located in Houston, Texas. It is owned by the CBS News and Stations group alongside CBS owned-and-operated station KUCL (channel 6). Syndicated programming on KMYX includes: Family Guy, Crazy Talk, Roseanne, My Name Is Earl, Reba, and The Andy Griffith Show among others.

KMYX, alongside other CBS-owned CW affiliates, dropped their affiliation on September 1 due to Nexstar Media Group acquiring 75% ownership of the network. The CW affiliation moved to KHTV (channel 36).
