KFRS is the NBC owned-and-operated station that serves the Fresno, California broadcast area. It broadcasts on channel 39 and is owned by the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations subsidiary of NBCUniversal. NBCUniversal announced that it will sell KFRS and WDCD to BeloOne. On November 29, 2015 KFRS was sold to BeloOne. On January 25, 2016, BeloOne sold the station to Krueger Broadcasting. Krueger then transferred the station to Outlet Company on June 17, 2016. It was sold back to BeloOne on June 23, 2016. On April 19, 2017, KFRS was sold by BeloOne back to NBCUniversal.
