KTRH (channel 30) is a television station in Galveston, Texas, United States, serving the Houston area as an affiliate of America One. The station is owned by Tribune Broadcasting.
History[]
KTRH signed on the air on November 20, 1954, as an ABC affiliate.
Ditching ABC with Argosy (2015-2017)[]
On January 1, 2015, KTRH became an Argosy Network affiliate as part of a series of switches nationwide. ABC programming moved to then-Rainbow Dash Network affiliate KRDH (channel 18). On January 1, 2016, the station switched to QTV as a satellite of KTXH in Houston.
After QTV (2017-present)[]
After QTV disestablished on April 13, 2017, the station was briefly an independent. On June 5 that year, KTRH became an affiliate of America One once that network launched.
