History

WFEH began in 1986 as an Independent station, it was the third independent station in the area to sign on the air. In 1995, the station became a WB affiliate under the "WB42" branding. In 2006, CBS and TimeWarner announced that they would sell The WB and UPN to Turner and Viacom in order to make The CW, the fall of 2006 was when WFEH decided to join MyNetworkTV and the other station joined The CW, the station was known as "My42". In 2014, they became a Fox affiliate as part of the 2015 switch and became known as "Fox 42".
