KFFF is the CW affiliate that serves the Cicely, AK area. The station broadcasts on Channel 5.

History

KFFF signed on the air on April 6, 1970 as a locally owned independent with Mike Parker President, Mike Buck General Manager and Dave Peters II Program Director. Like all independent stations, KFFF aired off-network syndication, children's prgramming during the day, and classic programming in the afternoon and movies throughout the night.

During the 1980s, KFFF was the first Cicely station to air professional wrestling with any regularity, largely in response to the increase in mainstream interest. The station originally aired AWA All-Star Wrestling (in conjunction with a short-lived attempt on their part to promote events in the market), and later World Class Championship Wrestling and WWF Superstars of Wrestling.

In 1995, KFFF became an affiliate of The WB. And in 2006, when the WB and UPN merged to form The CW, KFFF became an affiliate. In June 2010, Coastal Television hired Scott Centers as General Manager to manage KFFF.
