KPDT-DT is the ABC affiliate broadcasting out of Pendleton, Oregon. KPDT-DT broadcasts on Channel 12.
History[]
KPDT opened it's doors June 10, 2012 to fill a broadcasting gap that existed within the area. Then on October 1, 2015 Berfield/Willis Broadcast Corporation bought the station to help alleviate broadcast costs and make better management decisions. Along with the Berfield/Willis buyout of the station, Berfield/Willis decided to implement a news department for the station and start airing newscasts since the station was lacking a news department as well as newscasts in the 3 years that it's been on the air and operational. The newscasts are expected to air November 2, 2015.
