KQMH is a Rainbow Dash Network affiliate serving Reno, NV. It broadcasts on Channel 19.

History

KQMH was launched in April 16, 1980, by Smith Broadcasting. As an independent, KQMH ran a general independent schedule of children's programming in the morning, followed by off-network syndication in the afternoon, followed by movies throughout the night. KQMH later on added the Home Shopping Network programming during the overnight hours. In 1986, KQMH became an affiliate of the Fox Broadcasting network. In 1992, KQMH launched their newscast. Two years later, Smith Broadcasting sold the station to McGraw-Hill Broadcasting. McGraw-Hill began upgrading the station. In 2011, McGraw-Hill announced that they're getting out of the broadcasting business and sold KQMH to Madison1996. Later on, Madison1996 announced that KQMH would leave the Fox Network to join the newly launched Rainbow Dash Network.
