KRIC is a PBS member station that serves the Tucson, AZ market. The station broadcasts on Channel 7.

History[]
KRIC first began in 1956 as a CBS affiliate, it was the third station in Tucson to sign on the air. KRIC was locally owned by Channel 7 of Tucson, Inc. In 1972, the station was purchased by Storer Communications. After 23 years of ownership, KRIC was sold to Cosmos Broadcasting. In 2001, the station was sold again to Gray Television. Gray Television owned KRIC until 2014 when KRIC became a PBS member station and was sold to Arizona Public Telecommunications.
