KSEA is an UPN station that serves the Seattle, WA area. It broadcasts on channel 67. The station was owned by Krueger Broadcasting and was part of a duopoly with CBS affiliate KWEO. Krueger Broadcasting sold the station to Oakhurst Broadcasting on Oct. 29, 2015. The sale also means that KSEA and KWEO are no longer sister stations. Carrying on with their plan, KSEA will become an UPN affiliate on Nov. 1, 2015. It would make KSEA's return to UPN in 17 years. On Jan. 30, 2016, it was announced that Island Television, as well as Higgins Broadcasting, and Oakhurst Broadcasting, were merging into Adelphia Communications. Adelphia, in turn became the new owners of KSEA. Because Adelphia owns and operates the Northwest Sports Network, KSEA airs games for the Seattle Thunderbirds and Everett Silvertips (CHL), Seattle Storm (WNBA), and Seattle Sounders FC (MLS).
