This article is not to be confused with the real life radio station KTSA-AM in San Antonio, Texas.

KTSA is the CBS affiliate that serves the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. It broadasts on channel 4. The station is owned by Graham Media Group.

History

KTSA signed on the air back on June 5th, 1972 originally signing on as an affiliate of CBS after KBAP gave it up after nearly 20 years of being with the network to affiliate with ABC since Tulsa was lacking an ABC affiliate with ABC only being available to the people living in the Tulsa DMA from other DMAs (Joplin and Oklahoma City). KTSA is one of the affiliates to have the same call sign, same affiliate, same channel number and same owner since the day it signed on and to this date, KTSA has remained with CBS for over 40 years. On December 30, 2015, Krueger Broadcasting traded KTSA to Lady Luck Communications in exchange for WNTE in Nashville. On June 16, 2016, Lady Luck announced that they've sold the station (and KCVE) to Adelphia Communications. On Sectember 19, 2016 it was announced that Aldelphia will sell some of its smaller market stations to Mobile, AL based Galaxy Broadcasting (along with sister stations KOMS and KCVE)
