WKWD-TV, virtual channel 48 (UHF digital channel 48), is a CW Television Network owned-and-operated television station licensed to Albany, New York, United States, which serves the Albany, New York, Schenectady, New York, and Troy, New York television markets.  The station is owned by the Young Broadcasting, making WKWD a sister station to Young Broadcasting owned-and-operated WABY.  The two stations share studios just north of Center City in Albany, with transmitter in Roxboro.  The station began broadcasting in 1985. Young Broadcasting has owned the station since 2016. WKWD's original owner was Kaiser Broadcasting. On March 28, 2017, Young Broadcasting sold WKWD to Fisher Communications.
