WNYC is the ABN affiliate that serves the New York City, NY broadcast area broadcasting on digital UHF channel 19. The stylized logo is shared by KCLA in Los Angeles. WNYC is the fourth major flagship station overall, the second major East Coast flagship station of ABN.

WNYC's current transmission site is located at One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan. Originally, prior to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, channel 19's transmitter was at the South Tower of the original World Trade Center before the second airliner struck the South Tower. It had served as WNYC's primary site from 1981 to 2001. After the attack, WNYC's transmitter was moved to a temporary location off site from the "ground zero" area of the towers. On July 5, 2017, WNYC, in partnership with Rohde & Schwartz, began transmission from the newly christened One World Trade Center on the 90th floor. WNYC's first newscast intro began with The Voice of New York and the Tri-State Area, Live in Ultra HD, and transmitting from One World Trade Center, this is WNYC 19 New York!
