WNYM is a Roblox Network O&O station serving the New York Metropolitan areas of New York City, NY. Broadcasting on channel 25, WNYM is owned and operated by both E-Media and Roblox Corporation's Roblox Broadcasting Company. WNYM also operates a subchannel: 25.2 (for Seven Network). WNYM's secondary slogan is "Hello, New York."

History[]

From 1961-96, the station was owned by the city of New York and was an NET/PBS affiliate. However, in 1996, the city, citing budget reasons, sold the station to Paxson Entertainment, which ran it as an independent until Paxson Communications purchased WDNF after trading WNYM to Lenders Broadcasting for the station and continued to run WNYM as an independent. Adelphia, long wanting to have a station in the New York market, purchased the station in 2015, and began making plans on making the station one of the top independent stations in the city. But on 2016, it was sold to E-Media and Roblox Corporation and became a Roblox Network O&O. The rights on airing New York Mets games was sold to CBS Television Stations.
