WUPO

WUPO is an UPN affiliate serving Orlando, Florida, and the surrounding Central Florida area. Broadcasting on channel 57, WUPO was owned and operated by Oakhurst Broadcasting until they sold the station to Krueger Broadcasting as part of their merger with Adelphia Communications Corporation. WUPO was launched on January 2, 2000, and immediately became an affiliate of UPN. WUPO also broadcasts Orlando Magic (NBA) and Orlando Predators (Arena Football) games. Now owned by Krueger Broadcasting, WUPO is part of a duopoly with CBS affiliate WDBO.
