XELD is the CBS affiliated station that serves the Brownsville/Harligen/McAllen, TX broadcast area and the greater Rio Grande Valley. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 32 (or virtual channel 7 via PSIP) and is owned by Berfield/Willis Broadcast Corporation as part of a duopoly with NBC affiliated station KGN (channel 12). Due to the fact that its transmitter in in Mexico, The call letters start with "XE" instead of "K". On November 10, 2015, XELD Debuted the CBS O&O graphics used by all Krueger Broadcasting owned CBS stations. Krueger Broadcasting eventually sold XELD to Galaxy Broadcasting who in turn sold the station to Berfield/Willis, owners of KGN, on May 7, 2017.
